My name is Joseph, I am 27, and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I started playing music when I was 13, and quickly made a humble goal to become “the greatest guitarist in the world”.
Well, that didn’t quite pan out, and its a good thing too, because just a few years later I would discover that what I really wanted to do was sing. When I was seventeen, I wrote my first song. A star was not born, but I did discover something that I found gratifying to the core. Getting attention by clever use of a guitar.jk….kind of….
Last year, I recorded a seven song, studio release called “Automaton (check it out in the store section). I mostly play guitar, sing and write. But I have also played the banjo, harmonica, and a little bit mandolin.
In regards to style, I would like to think of my sound as song centered, rock. I really want to share something beautiful and true, and give something to people that can nourish them. I am always on the lookout for music that 1. is so beautiful that it makes you stop thinking about yourself, 2. music that puts a little fight in your heart to help you in the challenges of everyday life. I want to be beautiful and agressive. I get bored if I can’t have both.
